Comedian Billy Crystal is bringing the story of losing his Los Angeles home in a wildfire to Broadway in his new one-man show, 860.
The fire, which struck the Pacific Palisades neighbourhood in January 2025, destroyed more than 5,000 homes, including Crystal’s family home.
Crystal said he found inspiration for the stage production among the smouldering ruins of the house, where the fire had taken everything.
