Lauren Boebert has denied allegations that she had sexual relationships with three current or former staff members while they worked under her supervision.
A complaint submitted to the House Committee on Ethics on Thursday alleges that the Colorado congresswoman was involved with former district director Clarice Navarro Ratzlaff, district chief of staff Raven Finegan and former chief of staff Jeffrey Small.
The complaint was filed by David Wheeler, founder of the political group American Muckrakers. It also claims that Ms Navarro Ratzlaff received a payment of $200,000 in March 2025 after allegedly planning to submit an ethics complaint of her own.

A spokesperson for Ms Boebert rejected the claims, describing them as politically motivated and denying that there was any truth to them.
“Congresswoman Lauren Boebert rejects these allegations as utterly false and there is no truth to them whatsoever,” the spokesperson said. “This is nothing more than a politically motivated stunt designed to manipulate the ethics process, create headlines, smear her, and generate clickbait.”
The spokesperson also said the complaint had been brought by an activist who had previously made accusations against Ms Boebert that were fact-checked as false.
Ms Navarro Ratzlaff separately denied the allegations involving her, calling them “entirely false, defamatory, and beyond ridiculous”.
“There is absolutely no truth to any part of this claim,” she said.
House rules prohibit members of Congress from engaging in sexual relationships with employees they supervise. The House Ethics Committee has not announced whether it will open a review or investigation.
Ms Boebert filed for divorce from her husband, Jayson Boebert, in 2023 and is dating real estate broker Kyle Pearcy. She previously faced a public scandal after surveillance footage appeared to show her and a date groping each other during a performance of Beetlejuice.
