Chris Harrison is returning to television with a new dating show, five years after leaving the “Bachelor” franchise. Chris Harrison’s The Vow will premiere on FOX Nation on November 11.
The series will follow 30-year-old bachelor Jace Cates as he seeks a partner from a group of 10 women. Their compatibility will be assessed through shared values, communication and faith.
Harrison appears to draw a contrast with his former programme in a teaser for the show, saying: “Roses fade, true love lasts forever.”
The former host said The Vow would explore whether lasting love could still be found in modern life.
“The show asks a simple but important question: Can genuine, lasting love still be found in the modern world? The stakes couldn’t be higher,” he said.
Harrison added that the programme had been inspired by what he called a “faith-driven renaissance happening across America”.
“As a result, I believe we’ve created the most authentic dating show on television today,” he said.
Former Bachelor star Sean Lowe and his wife, Catherine, are also due to appear on the reality series.
Harrison left the Bachelor franchise in 2021 after comments that some people felt excused alleged racist behaviour by contestant Rachael Kirkconnell. He apologised before moving to Texas.
