Former Duke and NBA star Kyle Singler has posted another series of troubling social media videos that are once again leading fans to express their concern for his well-being.
Singler posted four videos on Tuesday of him ranting as he paced in circles, leading to the outpouring of concern from followers.
A disheveled looking Singler called out his former coach, Mike Krzyzewski, and went on rants about society as a whole. He also mentioned how the power in his living space has been cut off.
‘I need this message to go out to as many people as possible. Man, Coach K has set me up. Set me up, man,’ Singler said in the first video he posted.
‘I have no power and I have no house. I’ve reached out to Coach and everyone has turned the other way. I’ve reached out to Coach and he has fully dismissed the message. You guys are, um, cutting my power off, breaking into my house, stealing money. Ruining my life.
‘Reached out to Coach K and all he did is sit me on the bench. Thanks, man. Is that what we’re doing at school, sitting people down, teaching them up? Cool beans, man… Coach, where you at? Help a brother out. Thought we were on the same team, man.’

In a second video, which Singler appears to have posted twice, the Oregon native says that he is now living in Oklahoma. He also says that he’s ‘stuck’ in his house and that people are ‘after my money, trying to kill me.’
‘Where are we as a society, man,’ Singler said. ‘I go out, I’m out in Oklahoma, I go out walking on the street, I get pulled, I get arrested, I get fucking checked, I get kicked out of restaurants. I can’t even live anymore. Can’t even say, uh, “hey, how’s it going” without confrontation.
I’ve reached out to Coach. Again, everybody knows what’s going on. We’re living in a whole ‘nother world. Coach, I need your help, man. I’m stuck at my, uh, house and I can’t leave. I feel imprisoned. Where we at? Leaving people stranded.
‘[I] try to share, uh, messages about, um, where we’re at. And back home I got people, my friends, family devastated and gone, died. And again, my life’s on the line.
‘I got people breaking into my house, stealing, jacking money, breaking into my accounts. And you know what? Duke’s all about it. I got Duke again, begging for my money. Everybody’s after my money, trying to kill me. What’s going on? What’s the deal?
‘Well, seems like people got a lot of anger and a lot of violence and a lot of retribution on their mind. So got messages, and again, Coach, you got again former player being mistreated and abused and you ain’t doing nothing, man. Help out.’
The third and final video Singler posted touches on similar themes, saying that he’s under surveillance and is being threatened with violence. Again, he calls out Krzyzewski and asks for his help.
‘We have a privacy issue and we have a technology issue. I can’t even do anything. All my accounts are hijacked and frozen. I have people watching my residence, and people in Oklahoma are way too paranoid for honesty and the truth,’ the former Thunder star said.

He continued: ‘Coach, I need your help. I’m locked in my house and I have no freedom anymore. Everybody’s again attacking me for green [money], so have at it, y’all. If anyone can be helpful to understand where we’re at, and there’s a lot of people that are attacking people for money. Greed. Have it.
‘What I’ve learned is, again, a lot of people that, again, take violence and want to hurt people don’t tend to be, again, seen in a good light, so. Coach, man, I’ve reached out to you many times and try to share with you where I’m at, and you just have been deflective. Leaving people in the dust. I don’t respect it.’
Fans left comments under Singler’s posts, advising him to get help and asking the Duke program to step in.
‘Get clean man get back to hoops somehow get around the game and get better,’ one Instagram user posted.
Another said, ‘Man brother… I pray you get the help you need.’
‘Can a former teammate or someone in the Duke family step up? This is horrific @dukembb,’ read one comment.
Another commenter said, ‘Kyle get help bro. There’s nothing wrong with not being okay. But you are in the small percentage of people who made it to the highest level. You can get through this.’
This is not the first time this year that Singler had posted a concerning video that drew concern from his followers.
Singler has been dealing with multiple legal and personal issues over the past few years
Back in January, Singler alleged his child is being abused and admitted to being homeless
Back in January, Singler admitted to being homeless in a now-deleted video posted to his Instagram account, where he claimed that his child was being abused.
‘I don’t feel safe,’ the Medford, Oregon, native said in the self-shot video. ‘I’ve got people in my life taking my money — this is a message to everybody in my life who has been messing with me. I have my child, my child is being sexually, physically, emotionally, spiritually abused. Shame on everybody that knows me that’s not helping, not intervening. F*** y’all. Duke, Medford, everybody.
‘I have people in my life f***ing me,’ Singler continued. ‘And nobody’s there. I’m on my own, homeless. People that are just feeding off me.
‘You all have created me by your treatment I am sick of it. Done. Standing tall. If you don’t like it, f***ing be helpful. My child has been a weapon against me.
‘I’m not apologetic for living my life you of love, being with people I want to be around. But it’s not reciprocal. I’ve been taken advantage of every f***ing step of the way. And now I’m talking. Y’all talk s***, and now I’m talking s***. I hope you like it.’
The video was posted months after Singler was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend in Whitehead, Oklahoma. The woman told officers at the time the former Oklahoma City Thunder player was her live-in boyfriend and was trying to ‘get’ their child, local station News On 6 reported at the time.
Officers said Singler appeared to be under the influence of drugs. The woman told police he wanted to have sex with her. When she refused, he allegedly threatened to rape her before pushing her to the ground and assaulting her.
KFOR reported the woman had bruising on her arms and ‘finger outlines’ on her face. Singler was later taken to Haskell County Jail.

Singler won a national championship at Duke before becoming a second-round draft pick
In his high school days, Singler was a widely heralded recruit out of Oregon when he signed a national letter of intent in 2006 to play basketball at Duke University.
He was a member of the Blue Devils’ 2010 National Championship winning team that beat Butler University, 61-59, in the final. For his efforts, Singler was named Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four.
After one final year in college in 2011, Singler was selected 33rd overall in the second round of the 2011 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons.
He initially played in Spain with Lucentum Alicante and Real Madrid before joining Detroit in 2012.
Singler played with the Pistons for three seasons before being packaged to the Oklahoma City Thunder as part of a three-team deal involving eight players and three draft picks.
He remained in Oklahoma City after 2015, re-signing with the team. He was waived in 2018 and continued his playing career in Spain again before retiring due to ‘personal reasons’ in 2019.
Across his NBA career, Singler averaged 6.5 points and 2.9 rebounds per game across 356 career games.
