Harry Styles looked straight out of a Jane Austen novel as he made his way to his gig soundcheck in a billowing white shirt that wouldn’t be out of place on Mr Darcy.
The singer, 32, who is currently in the midst of performing 30 shows at Madison Square Garden, was spotted walking from Brooklyn to the famous arena.
Harry styled his oversized shirt with a pair of baggy suit trousers, brown leather loafers as well as a grey cap and sunglasses.
His cap was embroidered with ‘techno is my boyfriend’ which he has worn before, after leaning into the genre in his album, Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally.
His fiancée Zoe, 37, was seen across town on the same day, looking chic in a black top, denim shorts and heeled mules after arriving in the city with Harry.
The couple’s engagement was revealed in April after a whirlwind eight-month romance – with Zoe pictured with an enormous diamond ring on her wedding finger.

According to Page Six the couple are mulling over ‘a small wedding in front of just family and close friends in the UK around Christmas time’.
A source told the publication: ‘I know for a fact Zoë would want to do something in New York because of her dad Lenny, so if anything it’s going to be two weddings.
‘Dad still lives in downtown [Manhattan]. It could be at the Fouquet’s Hotel. If she does two [weddings] it would be one in London and one in New York.’
A different source previously said: ‘Zoë is already thinking about the wedding. She wants something unique and has started discussing ideas for outfits, themes and designs.
‘She’s torn between a very intimate ceremony — possibly even eloping — and a larger celebration with all their loved ones, though a bigger wedding may ultimately win out.’
They added to The Sun: ‘She talks about it all the time — beautiful locations like Paris or the French Riviera, lots of flowers, stunning outfits, and a celebration that lasts all day and night, surrounded by love.’
Their separate outings come as Harry’s sizzling cover shoot for W magazine, which sees him showing off his ripped muscles and quirky fashion sense, was released.

In an accompanying interview, Harry talked about reconciling the juxtaposition of his famous persona and real life self and revealed how he ‘washes off’ his onstage persona post-show to be left ‘naked and in a vulnerable state’.
Harry told W: ‘One of the best things anyone has told me is that comments, the bad and good, neither of them are true.
‘Some people will tell you you’re the best thing in the world, and that’s not true. Some people will tell you you’re terrible, and that’s also not true.’
He added: ‘We, as the crew and the band, get to create an environment for people to have this joyous time. But we’re all there for the same thing. If you’re onstage, it’s a very godlike position.
‘But I’m not guiding you to me. I’m not asking you to follow me. I’m saying that I believe in the same thing that you believe in, and we’re all here for that reason, which is beyond me.’
Harry also spoke about shaking off that perception others have of him onstage by showering after each show.
He said: ‘When I come offstage, the first thing I do is shower, because it’s better for me to feel like I washed it off.
‘There’s a version where you come offstage and feel like, “Oh, I’m the guy right now.” I remember that from the really early days, the “How do I stay in this feeling – this is amazing!”
‘Over the years, I’ve tried to acknowledge that is that and I can wash it off. You do the show, you go backstage, you shower, and all of a sudden you’re naked in this most vulnerable, almost infant-like state of yourself.
‘It couldn’t be more different from what you were doing ten minutes ago.’
Harry admitted that because he started touring from such a young age, he would feel uncomfortable with stretches of time spent at home and ‘wouldn’t know what to do with himself sometimes’.
But these days, he relishes this time and also has an appreciation for touring, knowing that ‘it’s not forever’.
He said: ‘It’s such an unnatural thing to be shown other people’s perception of you all the time.
‘I was a little bit in my head about moving through the world and feeling very aware of how everything was being perceived toward the end of the last tour.’
The interviewer probed: ‘Once you read a comment.’..
Harry replied: ‘It’s death!’
