A 26-year-old man has died after a shooting at a food services business in south-east Atlanta, police said.
Officers were called to Zip Industrial Boulevard at about 1.30am on Thursday, October 1, following reports that a dispute between two people had escalated into gunfire.
The victim was taken to hospital but later died from his injuries. Police have not released his identity.
A person of interest was detained in Lawrenceville, north-east of Atlanta, in connection with the shooting. No charges or further details about the individual have been announced.
Investigators have not said what led to the dispute. The circumstances surrounding the Atlanta shooting remain under investigation.
