Mikey Madison keeps her Oscar beside her vinyl collection, choosing a location with a personal connection to her father.
The 27-year-old actress won the Best Actress award at the 2025 Academy Awards for her performance in Anora. Speaking while promoting her latest film, The Social Reckoning, Madison explained the significance of the spot in her home.
“I keep it next to my vinyl collection,” she told People.
Madison said her interest in records and vintage equipment reflects a shared passion with her father. “My dad used to have a record collection, and that’s something I feel like we bond over,” she said.
“For a while, I was really interested in collecting records and old movie soundtracks. And so I have a pretty good stash,” she added.
The actress also described herself as a homebody, saying she enjoys spending time with her animals, cooking, watching films and being with friends. She said she collects old items and has a small collection of antique record players and consoles.
The Social Reckoning, directed by Aaron Sorkin, was released in cinemas on Friday, 9 October.
