Milwaukee is set for a cool but mainly dry Wednesday, with partly sunny skies and a high of about 66°F (19°C), according to FOX6 meteorologist Lisa Michaels.
Temperatures will be noticeably lower inland during the morning, falling into the 40s, while areas closer to Lake Michigan remain in the mid-50s. An east-north-east breeze of 10 to 20mph is expected through the day.
The National Weather Service has issued a Beach Hazards Statement for Milwaukee County through Thursday afternoon, with conditions along the Lake Michigan shoreline requiring extra caution.

Wednesday night will be partly cloudy, with temperatures dropping to around 52°F (11°C) and lighter easterly winds. Thursday is expected to remain partly sunny, reaching 67°F (19°C).
Temperatures will edge upwards towards the end of the week. Friday should be partly sunny with a high of 68°F (20°C), while Saturday will bring similar temperatures and a slight chance of showers, particularly during the evening.
Sunday is forecast to be mostly cloudy, with a high near 70°F (21°C), before Monday turns partly sunny and warmer at about 71°F (22°C).
FOX6 said a more significant weather system could arrive early next week, although the immediate outlook remains largely settled apart from the limited risk of rain on Saturday.
