North Albany secured back-to-back Lower Great Southern Hockey Association women’s A-grade premierships with a 3-0 victory over Manypeaks in Saturday’s grand final.
The result followed a hard-fought contest before North Albany pulled clear with a dominant final quarter to end Manypeaks’ challenge.
Manypeaks were described as gallant despite being unable to find a way past the reigning champions, who retained the title with a decisive clean-sheet win.
