The Dolphins have hit the front against the Warriors after Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow finished a stunning counter-attacking move, giving the visitors a 20-16 lead with 11 minutes remaining.
Tabuai-Fidow collected a Warriors kick, initially drifting left before bursting past Jacob Laban to break the line. He then combined with Herbie Farnworth, who lifted a pass back inside for Tabuai-Fidow to complete the long-range try.
The Warriors had earlier stopped one Dolphins set when Taine Tuaupiki brought down Kulikefu Finefeuiaki on the final tackle. But the Dolphins needed no further tackles on their next possession, with their latest attack putting them ahead.
It completed a determined comeback from the Dolphins, who have scored three tries to the Warriors’ one and now lead by four points.
