The Trump Mobile T1 phone price has risen from $499 to $749, adding $250 to the cost of the handset since its launch. Trump Mobile made the change quietly on its website, without announcing the increase.
The T1 itself appears unchanged. It is still listed with 512GB of storage and 12GB of RAM – specifications that made the original $499 price notably competitive.
When two Trump Mobile executives discussed the phone earlier this year, they described the launch price as “introductory”. The company later amended its website to call it a “promotional price”, but that wording has now been removed.
The revised price applies to customers who did not buy the Trump phone at launch. No explanation for the increase has been given, and there has been no indication that the handset has received upgraded hardware.
Trump Mobile has provided limited software support since the T1 went on sale. The phone has received one update, moving from Android’s February 2026 security patch to the May 2026 version.
It remains based on Android 15, despite that operating system now being two years old.
