The family-owned business said on social media on Thursday that a supply chain issue had raised concerns about possible metal fragments in beef mince used in the products.
“If you have product from the dates noted above, DO NOT CONSUME THEM, please return to the place of purchase for a full refund,” the company said.
“Not the message we want to be sending to our community and not an ideal situation. Please check your product dates in your fridge and freezers.”
Food Standards Australia New Zealand said food containing metal fragments could cause injury or illness if consumed. Anyone concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
