A new video game, “Super Macklemore 64”, mocks the controversy surrounding Macklemore being dropped from Ed Sheeran’s concerts, with players pursued by a giant version of the British singer.
Created by Jonathan Mann, the game also features tiny billionaire Robert Krafts for players to dodge. Musicians can be summoned to chant “Free Palestine”.
Mann said the game was intended to highlight what he described as the “absurdity” of Macklemore being removed from Sheeran’s concerts, alongside Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
The game’s central character is Macklemore, while Sheeran appears as the pursuing figure in the video-game parody.
