A brand-new documentary called The Crouches starring Peter Crouch and his wife Abbey Clancy has been confirmed, as Prime Video gave a first look at the series on Thursday.
The show will follow ex footballer Peter, 45, and model Abbey, 40 as they navigate a new renovation project after leaving their £3million home, big birthdays, weddings, shifting priorities and their kids starting to fly the nest.
The couple share four children: Sophia Ruby, 15, Liberty Rose, 11, Johnny, eight, and seven-year-old Jack.Â
Abbey and Peter have said that it will be a ‘warts and all’ look at their daily lives and will contain some moments they may ‘regret letting the cameras see’, as they promised the series will rival The Kardashians.
In the docuseries, the biggest change of all will see them pack up and move out of the home they lovingly designed from scratch to take on a brand-new redesign project.Â
With an offer already accepted on their current home – a bespoke build complete with 8ft tall doors for Pete’s statuesque frame – a move out date is imminent.Â
But as Abbey dives headfirst into the renovation, Pete is about to set off to the World Cup, leaving her juggling the kids, the pets, and a building site.Â

Abbey has hit 40 and decided the roles within the family need reshaping – having made sacrifices for Pete’s football career, she’s now making her goals a priority… but will Pete play ball?
Peter said of the upcoming series: ‘We’re so excited about our new series with Prime Video. I absolutely loved making That Peter Crouch Film, so much so that this time I’ve somehow managed to drag Abbey and the whole family into it!Â
‘It’s a bit scary as it’s warts and all, but I’m sure you enjoy laughing with us (probably at us). There will be a lot of chaos and probably a few moments we’ll regret letting the cameras see, some ups and some downs, but it will be us.Â
‘Our life should be lovely, calm and simple… it is not. Watch out Kardashians we are coming for you.’
The docuseries will launch on Prime Video in 2027.Â
Two first look images showed them being followed by the cameras, while another saw them clinking glasses in an empty kitchen as they prepared to leave their family home to take on a new renovation project.
Earlier this summer it was revealed that the couple had moved to Portugal while some of the work was done on the new house.
Abbey said on their podcast in July:Â ‘Obviously, we sold our house, we were looking for a new house, we thought we would try living in Portugal for a bit.Â

‘We’ve absolutely loved it and you know it works perfectly for us because you know we can renovate our new place and all come back and it’ll be done.
‘The kids have loved it and you know it’s just been a great experience.’Â Â
The pair have legions of fans due to their hilarious podcast which sees them discussing their fun-filled relationship.
Earlier this month on the podcast, Abbey said she felt ‘physically ill and so upset’ after going through Peter’s phone and discovering his secret celebrity crush.
The beauty revealed that she looked at the ex-footballer’s messages behind his back and ended up giving him the silent treatment for two days after what she found.
Speaking on their podcast, Abbey admitted: ‘I went through your phone,’ to which Peter replied: ‘Which you shouldn’t do.’
Trying to justify her actions, she said: ‘Everyone does that, every girl does that.’
Abbey continued: ‘But I find out things from you by doing that.
‘I found out you had this crush on Jet from the Gladiators, which I didn’t speak to him for two days after and he was like ‘Abbey, she’s like 60’ and I was like ‘I don’t care, it made me physically ill,’ I was so upset.’
Peter replied: ‘But I’m allowed to fancy someone from 25 years ago…’
Abbey responded: ‘I know, but still knowing my husband fancies someone else.’
Peter explained: ‘That was well before you as well, I was around 14 when I was watching Jet.’
Jet, real name Diane Youdale, was one of the main cast members on the original UK series Gladiators from 1992 until 1996.
Abbey snapped: ‘So! And at the same time I find out you’re planning this golf trip.’
Peter explained that he likes to ‘have all his ducks in a row’ before raising it with his wife.
Abbey hit back: ‘But you don’t tell me before the day before Pete.’ Peter replied: ‘Would I want a month of hell or a day of hell?’
