Trent Alexander-Arnold is not considering a January transfer away from Real Madrid despite interest from former club Liverpool and Arsenal.
The 27-year-old right-back has yet to establish himself as a regular starter since joining the Spanish club in summer 2025, prompting speculation over his future. However, he remains focused on securing his place in the team and is not planning a move during the winter window.
Trent Alexander-Arnold remains committed to Real Madrid
Intermediaries have reportedly explored potential destinations for the England international, but a mid-season exit is not currently on his agenda. Alexander-Arnold is understood to be determined to fight for more opportunities at Real Madrid before reassessing his position at the end of the season.
His playing time has been affected by the arrival of Denzel Dumfries from Inter Milan. Alexander-Arnold has featured in only five matches so far and has started two of Real Madrid’s seven league fixtures.
Liverpool are monitoring the situation after failing to find a convincing replacement for the defender. Jeremie Frimpong and Conor Bradley have not fully taken his place, leading the club to consider the prospect of bringing their former player back to the Premier League.
Arsenal are also seeking greater quality at right-back amid uncertainty over Ben White’s long-term future, with the England defender having struggled with injuries. Neither club, though, appears likely to secure Alexander-Arnold in January while he remains committed to proving himself in Madrid.
