Bethenny Frankel is a reality star and a business mogul, but she says that her current career as a professional food and beauty influencer is her most lucrative venture yet.
The former Real Housewives of New York star, 55, famously founded Skinnygirl Cocktails in 2009, which she later sold to Beam Global for over $100million just two years later.
Now she’s back with a new brand, Supermodel, a line of low calorie bagels, spreads, and coffees born from the viral snacks and food hacks she’s shared on social media over the past few years.
When asked if influencing has been the most lucrative move of her career thus far, Frankel said, ‘My biggest year of Skinnygirl is not as big as this.’
She continued, ‘It’s out of control. It’s amazing. It’s the most successful I’ve ever been by far.’
Frankel says that she’s planning to expand the Supermodel brand into multiple food categories with nationwide distribution, stores and cafes, and that she ‘100%’ sees it becoming even bigger than Skinnygirl.

In an interview back in May, Frankel told Emma Grede’s Aspire podcast that she currently makes over $20million per year on brand deals and social media influencing alone.
In March, Frankel revealed that she’d turned down the opportunity to reunite with her old RHONY castmates on their upcoming E! reality series The Golden Life.
She reasoned that reality TV could potentially be bad for business at this stage of her career and that the E! network ‘could presumably never pay’ what she wanted.
However, she then shocked RHONY fans just one month later by teaming up with longtime frenemies Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan to shoot a big budget campaign for RoC Skincare in Paris.
Speaking to the Daily Mail about her decision to collaborate with her RHONY co-stars again, Frankel said that the campaign was not only lucrative for all involved, but that it was also healing too.
‘I got to heal all the woundings of the toxicity of reality TV and everybody won,’ she explained.
‘They won, they made money, they got to be relevant in a modern commercial. I won, RoC won, we all win,’ she said, adding that Singer and Morgan were ‘thrilled’ by how much they got paid for the deal.
Frankel’s Supermodel Cafe, which launched its first pop-up cafe in the Hamptons on Thursday, features healthier alternatives to the star’s favorite indulgences, like bagels, cheesecakes, and the star’s own viral chicken salad.

‘The chicken salad is better for you but it doesn’t taste like it is and it’s so good for you,’ she said, adding that her special recipe features ‘half the mayonnaise’ of a regular chicken salad.
The first Supermodel Cafe pop-up kicked off on Thursday at 481 Montauk Highway, East Quogue, New York and will be open until September 12.
Fans can purchase Frankel’s ‘protein-forward, 150-calorie bagels’ which she made in conjunction with Goldberg’s bagels, as well as her signature chicken salad.
The menu even boasts two special caviar-laced bagels for over $40; the ‘Rage Bait’ bagel at $38 and the ‘Nepo Baby’ bagel at an eye-watering $43.
There’s also a gluten-free cheesecake with 10 grams of protein and 102 calories along with six signature lattes, which Frankel concocted alongside her coffee partner Cumulus.

Frankel first entered the spotlight as a contestant on NBC’s The Apprentice: Martha Stewart in 2005, where she was the first runner-up.
A few years later she landed on The Real Housewives of New York City, where she became the show’s biggest breakout star.
In 2009 she launched Skinnygirl Cocktails, which she sold two years later for somewhere between $100million-$120 million.
She retained the rights to the Skinnygirl brand name outside of alcohol, which she then used on a slew of products including denim, eyewear, deli meats, popcorn, salad dressing, shapewear and more.
