Chelsea are not considering offers for Estevao Willian despite reports that Barcelona could attempt to persuade the winger to leave Stamford Bridge in search of more playing time.
The Brazil international has been restricted largely to substitute appearances during the opening phase of the Premier League season, prompting speculation that he may be unhappy with his role.

Estevao missed the end of last season after suffering a serious hamstring tear, just as he was beginning to establish himself in Chelsea’s first-team plans. A change to a system using wing-backs has since limited his opportunities further.
However, Chelsea view the former Palmeiras player as a central part of their long-term plans and are not preparing to entertain approaches for him. The club believe his current lack of starts is largely the result of the established front three making an impressive start to the campaign.
Manager Xabi Alonso has also sought to reassure Estevao about his importance, revealing that he has held “private conversations” with the 19-year-old.
Although the speculation surrounding Barcelona may continue, Chelsea do not currently face pressure to sell. The club are also hopeful that qualification for the Champions League would provide enough matches next season to give their attacking players greater opportunities.
