Dove Cameron has married Måneskin frontman Damiano David in a legal ceremony in Tuscany, with the couple celebrating their marriage in Val d’Orcia.
The actress arrived for the ceremony wearing an elegant custom white suit by Giorgio Armani. After being declared husband and wife, Cameron and David kissed on the steps of the town hall as family and friends showered them with confetti.
The newlyweds later left the ceremony in a vintage car.
Cameron, who first became known through the Disney Channel series Liv And Maddie, went on to star in the Descendants trilogy. More recently, she has taken on adult roles, including a part in the Prime Video thriller 56 Days.
The couple’s engagement became public after Cameron appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon wearing a diamond ring designed by David.
“He did such a beautiful job. He helped design it so I feel like, especially touched and it’s so perfect,” she said.
Cameron also described how David proposed at home, telling her he wanted a life filled with everyday moments rather than a public spectacle.
“Our life is so big and it’s full of so many public highs that there’s no romance in that for us anymore,” David told her, according to Cameron’s recollection. “And so I wanted to do this here in our home because I want dishes, I want laundry, I want baking foods together.”
He continued: “I want you in your big T-shirt. And this is the life that I choose and I hope you choose the same. Will you marry me?”
Cameron said she had been wearing an oversized shirt without make-up, with her hair still wet from the shower, when she realised what was happening. She recalled running into another room in a panic to consider whether she should do her nails before eventually joining David.
The pair were first romantically linked in September 2023 and made their red-carpet debut as a couple the following year. They later attended events including the 2024 Met Gala and a Los Angeles Lakers game.
In a previous interview, Cameron described David as “a 1950s gentleman, angel, teddy bear” and said: “He’s the best person I’ve met in my life.”
