Twenty-one people have been assessed after a bus crash on an isolated rural road in Glenburn, about 90km north-east of Melbourne.
Emergency services attended the scene on Thursday afternoon, with an Air Ambulance Victoria helicopter crew and multiple Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance and Advanced Life Support paramedic teams involved in the response.
A teenage boy was airlifted to The Alfred hospital in a serious condition with upper-body injuries. A man in his 50s was taken by road ambulance to Box Hill Hospital, also in a serious condition.
A teenage girl was transported to the Royal Children’s Hospital in a stable condition, while another teenage boy was taken to Maroondah Hospital with upper-body injuries and was also stable.
Ambulance Victoria said the remaining patients did not require emergency treatment or transport.
