Elena Samodanova has told a court she earned US$3,846 before tax last month as she and her former husband, “Dancing With the Stars” professional Gleb Savchenko, continue their custody dispute.
Legal documents state that Samodanova, who is based in Hong Kong, has earned an average of US$4,380 a month over the past year in her role as an assistant studio manager at Phoenix Connect.
She also reported average monthly rental income of US$1,873. Her fiancé, Vlad Kvartin, was listed as earning US$3,500 a month, while Savchenko pays US$2,273 in child support for their two children.
Samodanova said the household’s income falls well short of its outgoings. She listed total monthly expenses of US$17,601.18, although she said US$3,000 of that sum was paid by other people.
She also disclosed more than US$127,500 in debt, attributed to a house renovation loan and a line of credit used for family living expenses.
The financial details have emerged amid a custody battle over the couple’s daughter, Olivia. Olivia lives with Savchenko in Los Angeles, while her sister, Zlata, lives with Samodanova in Hong Kong.
Savchenko has alleged that Samodanova and Kvartin sent sexually explicit messages about him to Olivia. Samodanova has rejected the allegation, calling it false and saying he has “no proof”.
Kvartin and Samodanova welcomed their daughter, Victoria, 10 months ago, according to the legal filings.
