Lily Collins has reprised her role as Emily Cooper for a new Expedia advertising campaign filmed in Holborn, London, shortly after completing her final scenes for Emily in Paris.
The actress was photographed on Sicilian Avenue, which was transformed into a Parisian-style setting with French cafés, bistro tables, vintage cars and market stalls.
Collins, 37, wore a black-and-white polka-dot dress and the sleek bob associated with the American marketing executive she has played for six years. The shoot showed her browsing clothing rails, flower displays and vintage stalls.
Her partnership with Expedia is designed to tap into the interest in Paris generated by the hit Netflix series, which first aired in 2020. The programme’s hotels, restaurants, boutiques and picturesque streets have helped fuel demand for visits to the French capital.
The travel company has reported increased searches for Paris when new episodes are released, reflecting the so-called ‘set-jetting’ trend in which viewers are inspired to visit places they have seen on television.
The final series of Emily in Paris will see Emily face a major decision about the life she has built in the city. The show has followed her through workplace drama, romance and the challenges of adapting to French culture.
Emily will also travel to Greece to visit her love interest Gabriel, with the scenes expected to place another destination in the spotlight for the programme’s audience.
Collins filmed her concluding scenes for the series last month before stepping back into character for the Expedia campaign in London.
In her personal life, Collins, the daughter of musician Phil Collins, lives in Queen’s Park, north-west London, with her husband Charlie McDowell. The couple welcomed their daughter, Tove, via surrogate last year.
