Ruby Tuesday Matthews has undergone plastic surgery – and she is not sparing her fans any of the details.
The influencer and mother-of-three shared a series of gory images on Instagram on Monday, showing her swollen, bandaged and badly bruised face after a four-hour operation to refresh her looks.
The 33-year-old had an endoscopic lift, designed to tighten sagging skin on the forehead, brow and midface.
‘Okay guys, it’s been a wild few days. Last Friday I went in for an endoscopic lift and I’m not going to lie, I was sh**ting myself,’ she explained.
‘Initially, I thought I’d also need eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) to get that more refreshed, awake look,’ Ruby continued.
‘After my consultation, my surgeon felt the endoscopic lift alone could achieve what I wanted, so we decided not to do the bleph.

‘The goal was never to change the way I look. I wanted to keep my face and my features, just look a little more refreshed and awake, while addressing some of the volume loss through my face.’
She then shared a series of videos and photos that showed her in bed after the operation, her face heavily bandaged.
Ruby later removed the bandages and revealed her deep purple bruises and swelling that left her face so misshapen that her iPhone’s facial recognition system could not recognise her.
‘I literally had to go to the Apple Store in my pyjamas looking like this and reboot my whole phone because there was no way it was recognising my face,’ she admitted.
When questioned by fans who asked why she augmented her appearance when she was already a young, attractive woman, Ruby defended her decision.
‘I obviously didn’t have to share any of this. I could have disappeared for a few weeks and pretended nothing was ever done, but transparency with my community is important to me,’ she wrote on Instagram.
‘I thought I was beautiful before and I still do; I haven’t had surgery to change my face or become someone else, I simply wanted to look a little more refreshed.’
She continued: ‘My literal reference was a photo of myself five years ago.

‘What you’re seeing now is swelling, not a new face, and I won’t be ashamed for being honest about something I could very easily have hidden.’
Ruby first revealed that she had undergone a breast augmentation surgery in 2023, admitting at the time that she had previously had implants and two breast lifts done.
‘I’ve obviously had a breast lift and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out I’ve got implants,’ she said at the time.
‘I was really apprehensive about getting them because of breast implant illness and it being this kind of thing that’s being talked about.’
She continued: ‘Even though surgeons say you won’t get it, it [affects] such a small portion of people, I definitely have noticed some odd things going on with my body.’
Ruby went on to say she’s currently monitoring herself to figure out if the signs of sickness she’s seeing are ‘coincidental’ or related to her implants.
She revealed her third pregnancy had ‘undone’ the breast lift she received after having her first two children, and she required revision surgery.
‘I would definitely wait on having any type of breast surgery until after children,’ Ruby told her Instagram followers.
‘I will have to have another breast lift after this baby as it has completely undone the work. It’s a complete waste of money and time.’
Ruby shares sons Rocket, nine, and Mars, eight, with former partner Ryan Heywood, and daughter Holiday, three, with her current fiancé Shannan Dodd.
