Bayern Munich and Germany star Jamal Musiala appeared to pass out during his side’s friendly win over RB Leipzig, sparking concern among players and fans.
The midfielder had just scored to make it 3-1 to his side in the 81st minute, but appeared dazed and confused just two minutes later before he was caught by new team-mate Ismael Saibari.
After the Morocco star lowered him to the ground, medical staff rushed onto the field as Bayern players surrounded the 23-year-old.
Amid a hush from the crowd, the medical staff eventually gave a thumbs up, with reports in Germany suggesting that Musiala had struggled with the 33 degrees Celsius heat.
Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer said after the game: ‘It will become clear what it was. But of course we are keeping our fingers crossed.’
Director of sport Max Eberl, meanwhile, said: ‘He is fine, and that is the most important thing.’

The incident comes following a debate around hydration breaks, which were held regularly during the World Cup.
Bayern, meanwhile, won the game 3-1, with Luis Diaz, Nathaniel Brown and Musiala on the scoresheet.
Musiala, who played at the World Cup with Germany, had only been introduced as a 69th minute substitute, but had to leave the field of play soon after.
England captain Harry Kane was not involved in the game but returned to training alongside the likes of Michael Olise this week.
Bayern kick off their competitive season next weekend in the German Super Cup, when they will take on Borussia Dortmund.
