Karl Stefanovic has been named host of the 2026 CPAC Australia National Conference, where he will interview One Nation leader Pauline Hanson, Liberal Party leader Angus Taylor and Nationals leader Matt Canavan.
The former Today presenter and podcast host will conduct the opening session on October 10, with the interviews billed as “live and unscripted”. The conference will be held over October 10 and 11.
CPAC Australia described Mr Stefanovic as “independent, and asking the questions on his terms” in its announcement of the event.
Mr Stefanovic, who describes himself as having a “strong BS metre”, will question the three party leaders in a session organisers said would “send the establishment media into a head spin”.

Former UK prime minister Liz Truss and anti-trans activist Sall Grover are among the other figures due to attend the conservative conference.
Two-day general access tickets are priced at $99, while single-day tickets cost $67. Golden tickets cost $480 for CPAC members and $599 for non-members, while the platinum experience, which includes access to a platinum room and requires security vetting, is priced at $7,000.
