Nevaeh Akira’s former partner Robert Louis Lee has asked a court for joint legal and physical custody of their four-year-old son, Superior.
Lee, who is also known as DJ LetThemKnow, filed the petition last month. Blueface, who recently had a child with Akira, is not involved in the custody application.
Lee has proposed a parenting arrangement that would divide the week between the two parents. He said the plan would give Superior a “predictable routine” for his wellbeing.
The custody filing comes amid reported tensions between Akira and Lee. Superior allegedly called his mother while she was out with Blueface last month and claimed that Lee had choked him.
Lee denied acting maliciously, saying the incident happened while he and the child were “rough housing”.
Akira gave birth to her child with Blueface only a few weeks ago, but their relationship ended soon afterwards.
The pair had reportedly argued frequently about Lee and other issues before Blueface asked Akira to leave his house during a livestream.
