Trippie Redd’s Florida home was searched by police on Tuesday as officers served a warrant at the rapper’s $8 million property in South Florida.
A Davie Police Department spokesperson said officers attended the mansion to assist with the execution of the search warrant. It remains unclear whether the warrant was connected to Trippie Redd or what investigators were seeking.
The City of Miami Police Department is leading the investigation. Further details from Miami police were not immediately available.
Trippie Redd, whose real name was not provided, has previously faced legal trouble. He was arrested twice in Atlanta in 2018 in separate alleged assault cases.
He later reached a plea deal in one case, while prosecutors ultimately declined to pursue the other.
Representatives for the rapper have been contacted for comment but have not yet responded.
