Detectives are appealing for help to locate a rare silver 1972 Holden Monaro allegedly stolen from a garage in Berwick, south-east Melbourne, while its owners were away.
The vintage Australian muscle car is estimated to be worth about $120,000. Police were told it was taken from a home in Jack William Way between 1pm on August 14 and 1.45pm on August 16.
No one was at the property when the alleged theft occurred, as the owners were out of the house for the weekend.
Victoria Police have released images of the Monaro as investigators seek information that could help track it down.
