Rosalía performed “Reliquia” on Saturday Night Live while dancing en pointe, marking her first appearance of the evening on the programme.
The Spanish singer, 34, was the musical guest for the episode hosted by Shane Gillis on Saturday October 10. It was her second time performing in that role.
“Reliquia”, taken from Rosalía’s latest album, Lux, means “relic” in Spanish. The performance combined her vocals with classical ballet technique, in which the dancer supports their full body weight on the tips of their toes.
In the song’s chorus, Rosalía sings about giving away her heart, asking someone to keep a piece of her in her absence and declaring: “I’ll be your relic.”
Rosalía is also nominated for seven awards at the 2026 Latin Grammys, which are due to take place on Thursday November 12.
