George Russell won the Azerbaijan GP as Oscar Piastri’s title hopes suffered another setback, with the Australian finishing 14th in Baku.
The result revived painful memories for Piastri at a circuit where his championship challenge began to falter last year. Baku once again proved a difficult venue for the Australian.
Russell’s victory capped a race in which Piastri was unable to challenge at the front, leaving him well down the order at the finish.
