Taylor Swift has unveiled a shorter, curly hairstyle in a new photograph celebrating a milestone for her music in the UK.
The singer appeared to be wearing a lob in the image, shared on Instagram on October 2, as “Patient Zero” and The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore simultaneously reached the top of the UK charts.
The achievement marked the fifth Official Chart Double. Swift was also credited as the only singer to have secured three number-one singles in 2026 so far.
Fans quickly speculated that the new look could signal the beginning of another era in her career. Several compared the style with Swift’s 1989 and Reputation periods.

Swift had stepped out with shorter hair in August, around a month before the release of The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore, during her first public appearance since her July wedding to Travis Kelce.
