A Coastal Flood Advisory remains in force along the San Francisco Bay, San Pablo Bay and Monterey Bay, with the National Weather Service warning that low-lying areas could see up to 1.2ft of inundation above ground level. Wednesday’s high tide is expected at 2.10pm at the San Francisco gauge, reaching about 1.2ft above normal. Flooding could affect shoreline parks, roads, coastal trails and low-lying beaches, with isolated road closures possible. Temperatures will range from 65F to 72F along the immediate Pacific coast, while bayside locations including Oakland, downtown San Francisco and San Jose could reach between 75F and 85F. Interior parts of the East Bay and further inland are forecast to climb to between 85F and 95F.
West-north-westerly winds are expected to remain at 10mph to 20mph, with gusts of up to 30mph. Offshore winds and low relative humidity are also keeping fire danger high, particularly in higher terrain where the National Weather Service says elevated fire-weather conditions are expected to continue.
