Tony Hawk has left a skateboard by the roadside in Detroit and invited fans to track it down.
The skateboarding legend flipped the board on to the side of the road near 8 Mile before posting about the stunt for his followers.
Hawk has been spending time in Michigan, where he is a familiar figure in Detroit’s skateboarding community. Local reports said he recently left a signed deck at a Detroit skatepark with a similar challenge for skaters.
“I left my deck in The D. Finders keepers,” Hawk wrote in an Instagram post.
The board was later found by another skater, according to reports, turning the surprise giveaway into a brief treasure hunt for fans of the American professional.
