Republican US Senate candidate Don Tracy has appeared in a one-to-one interview as Illinois voters prepare to decide who will represent the state in Washington.
Tracy joined The Chicago Report on Fox 32 Chicago on Tuesday, September 22, with less than two months remaining before the November 3 general election.
He is standing against Democratic nominee Juliana Stratton in a contest for the Senate seat currently held by Dick Durbin, who announced in April 2025 that he would not seek re-election after five terms.
The Illinois race is taking place amid a closely watched national election in which control of Congress is also at stake. The outcome will determine who succeeds Durbin and represents the state for the next six-year Senate term.
Tracy secured the Republican nomination in the March primary, while Stratton won the Democratic contest. Both candidates are listed as active nominees by the Illinois State Board of Elections.
