UFO whistleblower David Grusch has claimed that at least a dozen craft were recovered after apparent conflicts between grey and reptilian non-human beings, during an interview that left podcast host Joe Rogan visibly shocked.
Grusch made the allegations during an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, while discussing reports of unidentified craft and alleged government programmes involving non-human intelligence.
Asked whether there could have been a war between such beings in Earth’s skies, Grusch said: “We’ve documented that… what we perceive as warfare. It looks like conflict. It smells like conflict.”
He told Rogan he had been briefed on the recovery of dead grey and reptilian bodies from crash sites. When Rogan summarised the claim by saying, “So the grays and reptilians were duking it out,” Grusch replied: “I guess.”
Rogan responded: “Whoa. It sounds f****** crazy, David.”
Grusch said he knew of “at least a dozen or two” crashes allegedly connected to conflicts between non-human beings. He also claimed that one craft found alongside a dead reptilian was shaped like a Tic Tac.
The description echoes reports of a 2004 encounter off Southern California, when Commander David Fravor said he and his team saw a smooth, white object resembling a Tic Tac breath mint. The object was reportedly about 40 to 45 feet long, with no visible wings, tail, control surfaces or exhaust.
Discussing the alleged appearance of the reptilian beings, Grusch relayed a description attributed to a friend: “Seven-foot-plus, sort of gorilla-looking skin. But there are multiple types. There’s ones that are more humanoid-looking.”
He also referred to reports of grey beings of different sizes, including taller figures and “little tiny ones”. When Rogan suggested the smaller figures could be androids, Grusch said that possibility had also been discussed within the programme.
Grusch repeatedly stressed that he had not personally seen any of the alleged crashes or bodies. He said his information came from files on highly classified programmes, video material and accounts from government and military insiders.
He declined to explain how he had viewed the footage, describing the arrangements as “kind of sketchy” and intended to “keep everybody safe”. He also said he was withholding information to protect people who had supplied it, claiming some had been physically threatened.
The claims remain unproven. The US military and the White House have maintained that no physical evidence has been found demonstrating the existence of UFOs or alien life.
Grusch testified under oath in 2023 that the US government had secretly operated programmes to recover and reverse-engineer non-human spacecraft over several decades.
References to grey and reptilian beings have also featured in discussions about four alleged alien classifications: Grays, Nordics, Insectoids and Reptilians.
Physicist Dr Eric Davis, who has worked on top-secret Pentagon projects, referred to those classifications during a 2025 hearing on Capitol Hill, describing the entities as humanoid, roughly human-sized and potentially linked to classified reverse-engineering programmes.
Missouri Representative Eric Burlison, a member of the House Oversight Committee and UAP caucus, said he had heard the same four categories discussed in private briefings. He described himself as a sceptic and said he was uncertain whether Davis’s comments were based on direct knowledge or second-hand reports.
“If true, this would be a paradigm-shifting moment,” Burlison said. “But if it is true, the government has no right to keep such a secret from the public it serves.”
