Major League Baseball’s official schedule lists the Brewers-Rays meeting as an 8pm Eastern Time start, equivalent to 7pm in Milwaukee. Tampa Bay is hosting the contest after the teams split the opening games of the series in Milwaukee.
The series represents a historic opportunity for both franchises. The winner will claim the first World Series title in their history.
Milwaukee recorded a franchise-best 103 victories during the regular season, the highest total in Major League Baseball, and secured the second pennant in club history. The first came in 1982, when the Brewers won the American League championship.
The Rays finished the regular season with an American League-best 98 wins. Tampa Bay have reached the World Series twice since entering the league in 1998, but have never lifted the Commissioner’s Trophy.
FOX6 has provided coverage of the Brewers’ post-season campaign throughout their run to the Fall Classic, with further reports and video available through the station’s digital platforms.
