Albany’s old post office is now a place of learning and scholarship, having been transformed into the University of Western Australia campus on Stirling Terrace.
The distinctive building, recognised by its clock tower, turrets and gabled terraces, once served the community as a centre for mail.
Its change from post office to UWA campus gives the Stirling Terrace landmark a new role while preserving its distinctive character.
