Andrew Garfield has said he would consider another Spider-Man return if he believed the story was worth telling.
The 43-year-old actor was asked whether he could imagine putting on the superhero suit again during an interview with Metro Entertainment.
“Never say never. I mean, yeah, sure,” Garfield said. “There’s so much possibility, I guess. So, if it’s deemed a worthy story then, yeah, I’d be very curious to have a chat.”
Garfield’s most recent appearance as Spider-Man came in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, in which he appeared alongside Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire.
He first played Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man in 2012, returning for its 2014 sequel opposite Emma Stone.
Garfield’s comments come after he and Jamie Bell discussed their original auditions for the role during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live in September. Bell is said to have progressed as far as a screen test, but Garfield ultimately won the part.
