Arsenal are continuing to track Club Brugge striker Nicolò Tresoldi as they consider attacking options for 2027, with the 22-year-old’s rapid rise attracting interest from several leading European clubs.
Tresoldi has made a striking start to the season in Belgium and is now regarded as one of Europe’s most closely watched young forwards. Barcelona explored a move during the summer, while a number of Premier League clubs have also sent scouts to monitor his progress.
Arsenal tracking Nicolò Tresoldi ahead of 2027
Sky Germany reports that Arsenal have maintained a serious interest in the Germany Under-21 international after following him since the summer. A move in January is considered unlikely, with next summer viewed as a more realistic opportunity.
Tresoldi is contracted to Club Brugge until 2029, leaving the Belgian champions in a strong negotiating position. The club are understood to want a record fee for the striker and intend to reject offers made during the winter transfer window.
His performances have helped drive the growing speculation. Tresoldi initially scored nine goals in 13 appearances, including a Champions League hat-trick away to Inter Milan, before adding four goals in three matches for Germany Under-21s during the latest international break.
He has since gone on to score another hat-trick against Sint-Truidense, taking his tally to 12 goals in 13 appearances. Arsenal scouts were present for that performance, alongside representatives from Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham and Newcastle.
Club Brugge staff have also praised the forward’s attitude and all-round game. The club’s official website said Tresoldi “lives 24/7 for football”, while highlighting his pressing, ability on the ball and “excellent nose for goals”.
Arsenal’s interest is understood to reflect Tresoldi’s age, mobility, physical strength and consistency in domestic and European competition. He may not be expected to arrive as an automatic starter, but that could allow him to develop within Mikel Arteta’s squad.
Arsenal already have established attacking options, meaning they could pursue a younger striker rather than immediately committing to a deal worth more than £100 million for a proven superstar.
However, delaying a move could make Tresoldi increasingly expensive. Club Brugge have developed a reputation for securing substantial profits on emerging players, and his valuation is likely to rise if his scoring form continues.
