Jesse Eisenberg attended the premiere of The Debut at the 2026 New York Film Festival alongside co-stars Julianne Moore and Paul Giamatti.
The event was held at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City on Wednesday evening, with Eisenberg promoting the new film, which he wrote, directed and stars in.
Halle Bailey, Bernadette Peters and Eldar Isgandarov were also among the cast members at the premiere.
Emma Stone attended with her husband, Dave McCary, and Ali Herting. The trio produced The Debut through their Fruit Tree banner, with Stone wearing Louis Vuitton for the occasion.
What is The Debut about?
The musical comedy-drama follows Mona Friedman, a shy housewife who is cast in a small part at a community theatre.
As she becomes increasingly committed to method acting, Mona is prepared to go to extraordinary lengths to defend the artistic integrity of her minor role, bringing her into conflict with the production’s domineering director.
The Debut is due to arrive in cinemas on 11 December.
