Caleb Flynn’s murder trial has entered its seventh day, with proceedings being streamed live as the American Idol alum faces allegations that he killed his wife earlier this year.
Flynn has pleaded not guilty. His defence maintains there is not enough concrete evidence connecting him to the murder.
The trial has included evidence from Alleigha Botner, described as Flynn’s mistress, who took the stand and read aloud messages exchanged between them.
The court has also heard alleged AI-generated songs Flynn wrote for Botner about their relationship.
Prosecutors allege that Flynn shot and killed his wife before staging the scene to appear as though there had been a break-in.
