Jay-Z paused his concert at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Friday night to serenade his wife Beyoncé on her 45th birthday.
The rapper led the crowd in a rendition of “Happy Birthday” as Beyoncé watched from the audience, waving and blowing kisses while fireworks burst overhead.
Beyoncé, whose birthday fell on Friday 4 September, was also seen dancing along to her husband’s performance during the JAY-Z30 show.
The concert marked Jay-Z’s first solo London performance in almost a decade. His two Tottenham dates form part of a series celebrating 30 years since the release of his debut album, Reasonable Doubt.
The evening also featured surprise appearances from Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean, who reunited as the Fugees, as well as British rapper Giggs and actor Idris Elba.
