Former Playboy Playmate Karissa Shannon says she intends to raise her unborn son, Genesis, to be the opposite of Hugh Hefner.
Shannon told Page Six that she wants her child to grow up as a well-mannered gentleman who “leads with his heart”. Her son is due in April.
She has also revealed that she is engaged to a 44-year-old Canadian man whose identity she has chosen not to disclose. Shannon described her fiancé as a “simple, blue-collar guy” who accepts her past and loves her unconditionally.
She said he had also helped her develop healthier drinking habits as she moved away from the lifestyle she experienced at the Playboy Mansion.
Shannon has previously accused Hefner of pressuring her and her twin sister, Kristina Shannon, to engage in sexual activity with one another while they lived at the mansion.
Hefner’s widow, Crystal Hefner, has separately alleged that the Playboy founder tried to physically force the twins to perform oral sex on each other, describing the alleged conduct as “incest” and “disgusting”.
Shannon revealed her pregnancy in August and said she had worked hard to leave her Playboy days behind, choosing a quieter life in Michigan.
With a wedding planned and her baby’s arrival approaching, she says she is building the normal family life she has wanted for years.
