Lil Wayne and Madi Cannon are engaged, only months after announcing that they had ended their relationship.
The 44-year-old rapper revealed the news while recording a video congratulating fellow musician B.G. on his own engagement.
Introducing Cannon, Lil Wayne said: “Congratulations, bitch. And I’m marryin’ this one. This is Madison. This is my fiancée.”
The couple appeared together and smiled as they sent their congratulations to B.G. Their relationship had previously faced uncertainty after Lil Wayne dismissed engagement rumours earlier this year and confirmed they had split.
At the time, he said they had “had a beautiful thing going with an amazing person”, but added that he did not want to be a “burden”.
The pair have since rekindled their relationship. No wedding date has been announced.
