Milwaukee is set for a bright and settled Sunday, with plenty of sunshine and temperatures reaching about 66F (19C), although a cooler north-westerly breeze will keep conditions feeling fresher.
FOX6 meteorologist Lisa Michaels said clear skies will continue overnight, when temperatures are expected to fall to around 43F (6C). Patchy frost is possible in inland areas, while locations close to Lake Michigan should remain slightly milder.
The frost risk will return during the early hours of Monday, particularly away from the lakeshore. Monday itself is forecast to be sunny, with a high of about 63F (17C) and light winds shifting from the north-east.
Dry and warmer weather ahead for Milwaukee
Conditions are then expected to turn noticeably warmer. Tuesday should bring sunshine and a brisk south-westerly wind, with temperatures climbing to around 70F (21C).
The dry spell is forecast to continue through the rest of the week. Wednesday is expected to be partly sunny with another high near 70F, followed by temperatures of about 67F (19C) on Thursday and 68F (20C) on Friday.
Overnight temperatures will remain cooler, generally falling into the 40s. The contrast between mild afternoons and chilly mornings means exposed inland areas could see further patchy frost before the warmer pattern settles in.
