Myleene Klass attended the 2026 Sky Arts Awards in London after explaining that her busy schedule meant she could not commit to Hear’Say’s 25th-anniversary reunion tour.
The singer and presenter, who is the only member of Hear’Say not to have joined the planned shows, arrived at the event just hours after hosting Classic FM Live.
She wore a blue satin gown with a fringed overlay as she walked the pink carpet at The Roundhouse. The awards were due to be hosted by Grayson Perry and Rebecca Lucy Taylor, also known as Self Esteem.
Klass was among a number of guests at the ceremony, including Anita Rani, Arlene Phillips and Vic Reeves. Gemma Collins arrived hand-in-hand with her fiancé Rami Hawash, while Johnny Marr was accompanied by his wife Angie.
Myleene Klass explains decision to miss Hear’Say reunion
Hear’Say’s other members discussed Klass’s absence from the anniversary tour on This Morning, describing it as “a shame”.
Kym Marsh said: “We feel so lucky to do this again… it’s a shame Myleene can’t come with us but it just isn’t the time for her. She’s busy. But we had to take the opportunity because there’s nine of us… It’s a shame but we’re so excited.”
Klass previously told Loose Women viewers that her former bandmates had been “really sweet” and had included her in discussions about the reunion.
“But it’s not something I can commit to at the moment,” she said. “I just really can’t. I know that they’re still figuring out a lot of the moving parts of it. But for me, I’m just super busy. I’m committed to you guys.”
She said there had been no disagreement over the reunion itself, but that the group had needed to work out whether it could fit around their “day jobs”. Noel also revealed that an attempt to reunite for the band’s 20th anniversary had failed to come together.
Some fans criticised Klass on social media, suggesting that she was treating the two-week tour as beneath her, while others said she should remember her roots.
Klass said she still looks back fondly on her time in Hear’Say and remains on good terms with her former bandmates.
“I love the guys dearly. It was an incredibly important time in my life. It taught me so much. You know, epic songs like that and moments like that,” she said.
She has not ruled out returning to Hear’Say in the future and said she would be in the front row when the group performs again, although she joked that she was unsure whether she remembered all the lyrics.
“I would say never say never about anything because, as I said earlier to you guys, you know, I don’t really agree on revisiting the past,” Klass added.
