Local businesses in Rochester, Michigan, turned their shop windows into tributes to rock music’s biggest names as the 14th annual Rochester Posed event brought a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame theme to the city centre.
Storefronts were transformed into live mannequin displays inspired by legendary bands, performers and moments from rock history, giving shoppers the chance to view the scenes as they moved between local shops and restaurants.
The event took place in downtown Rochester from 7pm to 9pm on Thursday, October 1, with participating businesses unveiling their displays to the public for the first time. ([downtownrochestermi.com](https://www.downtownrochestermi.com/new-exciting-event?utm_source=openai))
Visitors were invited to vote for their favourite window during the event using a text-to-vote system, with voting details available at the participating locations. The competition was organised by the Rochester Downtown Development Authority. ([downtownrochestermi.com](https://www.downtownrochestermi.com/new-exciting-event?utm_source=openai))
Rochester Posed has become an annual showcase for the city’s independent businesses, with each year’s displays built around a different theme. The 2026 event followed last year’s focus on original streaming content and replaced television-inspired scenes with tributes to rock and roll.
