A search was under way on Lake Tarpon in Florida after a man failed to return from a boat test drive, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said.
The boat was later found on the lake without the man on board. His identity and age have not been released.
Marine units and dive teams were deployed to Lake Tarpon, near Tarpon Springs, as the search continued on Friday.
The sheriff’s office has not said when the boat was reported missing or how long it had been on the water before it was located.
