Stacey Solomon has returned to filming Sort Your Life Out after leaving the 2026 National Television Awards without a trophy, thanking viewers for supporting her and the BBC programme despite her triple defeat.
The presenter was shortlisted for TV Presenter, Reality Docuseries with partner Joe Swash’s show Stacey & Joe, and Factual Entertainment for Sort Your Life Out at Tuesday night’s ceremony at The O2 in London.
However, the awards went to Sir David Attenborough, Clarkson’s Farm and Gogglebox respectively. The official National Television Awards winners list confirms that Attenborough took the presenter prize, while Clarkson’s Farm won Reality Docuseries and Gogglebox was named best Factual Entertainment programme. Solomon was back at work at 5am on Wednesday, sharing a photograph with Sort Your Life Out expert Iwan Carrington on Instagram Stories.
“Straight back out and with the gang at 5am this morning for Sort Your Life Out filming,” she wrote. “We didn’t win yesterday, but just wanted to come on here & say THANK YOU so much for supporting us and the team.”
She added: “We are so lucky to go to the NTAs win or lose and we don’t take it for granted. We know we wouldn’t have been able to go with YOU.
“And although we are all a bit tired and silly today we had the best time. LOVE YOU ALL.”
The 36-year-old had previously criticised the nominations after Sort Your Life Out and Stacey & Joe were placed in the same entertainment category at last year’s ceremony.
Speaking to Magic Radio before this year’s event, she said it was “absolutely ludicrous” that the two programmes were competing against each other, although she stressed that she was grateful to have been shortlisted in a public vote.
Solomon said her family and the crews behind both programmes would be attending the ceremony, adding that it would be “amazing no matter what happens”. She also joked that Swash would be “giving me daggers” if Sort Your Life Out beat his show, while insisting he would clap publicly.
Despite missing out, Solomon later said she felt as though the group had won after spending the evening with her family and television colleagues.
