Tottenham have been contacted about Dani Olmo ahead of the January transfer window, with the Barcelona playmaker’s intermediaries sounding out several Premier League clubs.
No formal offers have been made for the Spain international, but Tottenham are understood to be among the English sides approached as potential interest in a mid-season move is assessed.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United have also been contacted, according to a report, as Olmo’s representatives gauge the market across the top flight.
Barcelona continue to regard Olmo as an important member of their squad and value him highly. However, the Catalan club are reportedly prepared to listen to proposals if suitable financial conditions can be agreed.
Any January transfer would be complicated by Olmo’s valuation and salary structure. Those factors are understood to have restricted the number of realistic options while his intermediaries explore possible destinations.
For Tottenham, a deal would offer the prospect of adding further creativity to a midfield being rebuilt under Roberto De Zerbi.
Spurs have already brought in Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes, giving them a midfield base focused on ball retention under pressure, defensive protection and progression. Olmo would provide an attacking presence capable of operating in the spaces ahead of them.
His close control, vision and ability to threaten goal would add another creative dimension to Tottenham’s options, although the club have yet to make a formal move for the Barcelona player.
