Two people have been arrested after a SWAT search of a home in Rockdale County, Georgia, uncovered more than 10 pounds of marijuana and two stolen handguns.
Members of the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office carried out the warrant at a property in the 300 block of Cowan Road as part of an investigation into suspected drugs and illegal weapons.
Deputies said they also found materials believed to have been used to package and sell the marijuana.
The two people taken into custody at the scene are each facing charges of trafficking marijuana, theft by receiving and possessing a firearm while committing a felony.
Their names have not been released. Investigators have not said what prompted the search warrant or whether anyone else is being sought in connection with the case.
